Decaf has a bad reputation, but that is because most decaffeination uses chemical solvents that strip flavour. Every decaf in our collection uses either Swiss Water Process or natural Descafesol methods - removing 99.9 percent of caffeine while preserving the original flavour compounds.

Swiss Water Process

Uses only water, temperature and time. No chemical solvents. Green beans soak in a water solution that draws out caffeine while keeping flavour compounds intact. The result is 99.9 percent caffeine-free coffee that tastes remarkably similar to its caffeinated counterpart.

Natural Descafesol Process

Made with Colombian mountain water and sugar cane. A chemical-free method that preserves the beans' natural sweetness and body. Perfect for Phil & Sebastian's specialty approach to decaf.

Single-origin from Peru, certified Canada Organic and USDA Organic. Swiss Water process with rich cocoa and a sweet finish. Available in 340 g whole bean only.
